Dear Rev. Sen. Ruben Diaz

Contrary to your claim that the people of New York have had same-sex marriage rammed down their throats, there was a vote by the people's duly chosen representatives regarding marriage equality in both houses of the NYS Legislature. That's how representative democracy works.

Your side lost. And come Primary Day 2012, I hope you do too.
